In November 2009 issue:
| Word from editor |
Dear readers!
In last month’s issue our main focus was contemporary art. With October and London’s Frieze Art Fair now over, and the Moscow Biennale drawing to a close, we hope our articles and interviews have helped you get a better idea of the actual art scene. This November issue looks at health issues that concern lots of people – diets, fitness, how to keep young and defy the ravages of time. The idea of focusing on these came unexpectedly. Acquaintances have often asked me to share my personal experiences of dieting. >> |

Gastronomy, wine, philatelists’, second-hand booksellers’ trade fairs, you name it – even ones for goldfish! But how exotic it looks even in such a motley list: this Bachelors’ Trade Fair that takes place annually at Paris’s Espace Champerret underground exhibition centre. |

Childbirth, gunfire and vertigo:
Anish Kapoor’s retrospective at the Royal Academy of Arts
In the history of the Royal Academy of Arts there has never been anything quite like it: a living sculptor entirely taking up the main galleries’ exhibition space, and, what’s more, inner courtyard with his artworks. |
